shudder during takeoff
hey guys, checking in to see if I can get some direction on where to start checking and looking to fix a problem. I have on 04 supercrew fx4, 172k. I have a very bad shudder/vibration happening while accelerating from a stop or low speed at turns, etc. Seems to me to be coming from the rear end or drive shaft somewhere. No visible problems. Other gear changes and driving seems ok.
thanks for any info!

You're asking about a shudder and were pointed to an issue about driveline clunk. They're not related. Unless you're inaccurately describing the clunk as a shudder.
Shudders during take-off are usually caused by a pinion angle not being properly set. This applies to one-piece driveshafts.
Have you altered the rear suspension or is it still stock?

When I accelerate from a stop while turning there is a bad shudder. The yoke was void of grease & noticeably worn down somewhat. Nothing has been altered at all. As I mentioned I did grease the yoke, but it didn't make much, if any, improvement. So I figure either the splines are very worn down or something else is wrong - but idk what it would be. Only happens while accelerating from a stop or low speed while turning.
thank you!
