Try a "magic eraser" first to find out how much is actual scratch and how much is residue / paint from what it rubbed up against.
If it still needs more "finesse" you'll likely have to go with 400 grit sandpaper and work your way down to 1000 or even 1500 grit. Then polish with a scratch remover for clearcoat paint or a headlight restoration kit. It's going to take a lot of patience, but you can get it back to practically new.
