Default Rumble in front end when I turn left or right

2003 fx4 5.4 SCREW

this only happens when I am turning from a dead stop and accelerate..When I turn left or right and give the truck gas its like a vibration rumble.. Any Idea.. My first thought was the sway arm bushings but they do not look bad...

I am having a similar or the exact same problem. It seems like it might possibly be something in the rear end for mine though. I was wondering if it was possible that the rear diff fluid had been changed out and somebody forgot to put the friction modifier in for the limited-slip. I don't know if that could cause that, but it'd be nice if it could be fixed with a simple fluid change. Anybody?

aftermarket rims and tires?? i have 18's with 35" tires and it made a rumbling sound during the same circumstances b/c it made the suspension travel which cause it to rub on the screw that holds the fender liner in place...

Yours sounds like a bad hub to me jack the side of the truck up the sound is coming from and see if the tire and rim feels like it is loose

Default same here

recently feeling the same thing. If I have the tires turned when I am at a stop and accelerate I feel a good shake, only from 0-5mph. But if I steer straight, accelerate, then turn no shake. I was thinking the posi might cause it. I checked the fluids in my rear end, transfer case and tranny. All are full. I shook every thing I could under the truck too. Could not find anything loose. 2005 screw 4x4

Just had my 08 in the shop for the same thing. It was actually one of my outter tie rod ends. Maybe you should get them checked out.

Id say check bearings and upper and lower ball joints, I had the same problem and replaced all the ball joints and no more noise or shudder.
