Rotors for 2005 XLT 4x4 (cross posted)
Ok,
So I took my F150 into the dealership, as I had vibrations coming from through my steering wheel while braking at speed.
They told me that all four rotors needed to be turned, and that they were going to charge $550 - I told them to go to hell.
I spoke to someone at Firestone - told them make/model etc, and he quoted $140 to turn the four rotors. Spoke to a second guy at the same shop, and he said as it was 4x4, the bearings would need to be repacked, etc, and said it would be $380.
So, do '05 XLT 4x4's (6 lug) have slip off rotors or not? If so, would I be better off replacing the rotors rather than turning them?
