Keyed
So someone obviously has it out for me and my truck was keyed multiple times last week, but not down to the metal. I'm not waxing it until I figure out who did it and know it won't happen again. With that said does anyone have a specific wax or anything that they've used for removing scratches?

Paint Polishing Guru
Waxes are the make up for the paint, you need a polish or compound to work out the scratch. You might want to try Meguiars M105, it like a DA machine but lots of elbow grease might work.
If you got keyed and it didn't go through to the base/primer you are very lucky. However to remove any scratch you need to polish down the valley of the scratch, so depth of scratch is important to know.
Can your finger nail "catch" the scratch when you put the nail in the valley and gently drag it out perpendicular? If it does its likely you can't just compound or polish it out. For the best appearance and longevity of the fix you need a body shop likely.
Have any photos?

What color is it? If its not metallic or pearl you could touch it up. Your local paint supply should be able to mix you the correct color. If its solid color white red black use fingernail polish. It's Shiney when it dries. You could even sand level it with 2000 set dry later and buff it. If its metallic or prl sorry bout your luck if it broke the clear. Hope this helps.

Check out Griots Garage
www.griotsgarage.com
I've been using their products for some time now and find them superior to others I've tried. I have both the 3" and 6" buffers to help make the job easy and the results are amazing.

If you can feel the scratch when you run your finger nail over it- polish wont clean it up. You can try a fine grit rubbing compound and a power polisher. Use a random orbital polisher do not use a grinder. Good Luck.
