Replacing Rear Wheel Stud on 2014 2wd F150
I broke a rear wheel stud on my 2014 F150 while torquing to required 150 ft/lb
after tire rotation. I have rear wheel disk brakes. Do I need to free up axle and slide outwards slightly to make room to get the old stud out and the new stud in? Some info I've seen says you can sneak the bolts out while others say you
have to loosen up the axle by opening up the rear differential and removing
a large pin to allow the axle to be pushed outwards slightly.
Thanks for all help.

I was able to sneak it out around back of hub and parking brake shoe without having to loosen axle. What a relief. Got replacement stud installed. Total cost $1.99 plus tax. Sweet!!
