Default Repair Bill - Reasonably or Not?

I took my F150 into a local shop and I'm wondering if $800 to fix a wheel hub assembly and also the actuator on my front right wheel is reasonable for parts, labor, and taxes? FYI - I also had an alignment included in that total.

Sounds right @ $75 an hour labor rate and 20% mark up on parts...an Alignment is $80-100. That's why I do my own work.

Amen to that!

Someone asked me a question some 30 odd years ago that made sense to me and got me into auto repair.

I was asked " Do you know what every single person on this planet has in common?" Of course back then I had no idea and they told me "no matter who they are, Doctor, dentist, lawyer, senator, wrestler, potus, they all have a job to get to and they aint gonna walk"

Took that to heart and my natural love of all things automotive and made my self a comfortable life style as a mechanic/technician.
