Default removing brake master cylinder 2005 f150

Hey guys please help me out, I un did the two bolts on my master cylinder and didn't remove any wires or hoses because I was just adjusting the pushrod. I tried pulling it off but it was like a suction cup. I pulled harder and it made a release of pressure sound then poped off. Is this bad?? Why was it hard to get off and made a sound?

If you were only removing the MB cylinder and not the vacuum booster canister, the suction was the booster vacuum holding it on. The noise was the release of the vacuum held in the canister to assist braking. (power brakes). As long a s the gasket is still good you're safe to reassemble it.
