Hey guys so i have another wierd issue with my f-150, it makes like a grinding noise under verylight acceleration usually in 1st gear then like once you press the pedal down a little more some thing engages in the transmission or transfer case and it slightly jumps and the rattling or grinding stops, and it can shift through the gears easily with no problem. Its not my iwe system because i have just got that replaced, what could be wrong?

Sounds like the IWE system.. pop it into 4H while it's making the noise and see if it goes away.. What year truck do you have ?

I just had that fixed like i said in the article and yes i tried the 4H already

Soo.. what year truck we talking about here... and I assume the noise was the same while in 4H...

Its an 04 f-150 fx4 extended cab with 150000 miles and yes it still does it it 4wd
