"FLUSH" antifreeze
I see a lot of references in these groups to FLUSHING the radiator and system of old coolant..
Q. What are you guys doing with the old coolant ?
In our neighborhood, there are stencils of fish on the street drains since these storm drains connect directly to our large lake/ fish habitat.
I checked the Provincial refs and they say any shop that does oil changes must "take back" your old oil for recycling..while reading thru that, I found that they are also required to accept engine coolant so once I managed to drain out the near 20 liters?/ 5 gal..I took the 5 gal bucket to the local oil change place and they accepted it for recycling, no problem.
That was the yellow stuff in my '07. My '02 PSD took "green"
Now it seems my '17 has RED stuff..??

My city takes in antifreeze for recycling and also takes in used oil which they use to run their furnaces in the service garage. Most large auto part chains take in used oil.
