Default Power steering noise like a rod?

1994 F150....after highway runs it gets a very loud knock...like a rod, after I get off the road to an idle. The noise changes in intesity when I turn the wheels right to left. No noise around town, no noise buzzing down the highway, just after a run down the highway.
Any ideas are appreciated!

Default from yhe body shop.....

start the vehicle. climb under the front while someone rotates the steering wheel left to right, as if driving through an obstacile course. ( in park of course ). look at the idler arm as this is done. if you see any play in it, that's your issue. if you don't see any play in it, put your hand where it mounts to the frame and feel for any play.
if this is it, grease it till the grease oozes out a little, this will get you by for a little while and order up a new one. measure the bolt distance, they're gonna ask you this when you order, as there are two sizes.
