Please help With my idle

Krack suggested just feeling it by hand (not recommended after a 30 minute drive of course). I let the truck run for about 45 second to a minute, hopped underneathe, my truck has 4 cats. Felt three, cool to the touch, felt the last one, pretty hot. Evidence of a restriction. They should all be close to the same temperature if they're functioning properly, even after running for 45 seconds. You can also tap lightly on it with a rubber mallet (or your hand if your not a sissy) and listen for rattling. Rattling may indicate broken fragments hense causing a blockage. But no rattling doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't an oil clog.

I noticed now when I turn the key to on before u crank the engine there is a whining pinging kind of sound kind like a little vacuum pump for something and it just keeps running and running and running until finally it shuts off after about a minute.
This is all before you crank the engine.
Is that the brake booster?
