Default Plastic moldings on base corners of Windshield

Hello All, newbie here. This is my 2nd post, 1st was an intro post, I'm hoping to get some help with this part, just at the base of the front windshield there is a black plastic grille. At both ends of this grille, there is this small plastic piece that seems to cap off the ends, sealing the gap with the front quarter panel. They look like separate pieces from the main grille that runs along the base of the windshield. However, I don't know if Ford sells them separate, or you have to buy the whole plastic grille.

Problem is the 2 small plastic pieces have deteriorated and is falling apart. I tried to look up the part online, but am not having much luck, firstly, I don't know the name of the part! I hope I've described it well enough for you all to know what I'm referring to, otherwise, I could take some pics of them tomorrow.

Thanks for any info.

I believe that comes as an end cap on the cowl cover. Mine is turning white so I removed it just to see how difficult it was. When it came off, those peices were attached to it. I did not think to look to see if maybe they were just stuck or were actually supposed to be on the ends.

Side note- That cowl cover is $200 for both peices from tascafordparts.com

Geez $200...I hope they sell the end caps separate! The cowl cover is fine, faded/white like you said, but I can restore that with some vinyl protectant.

I meant to remove those end caps today but was busy detailing the truck, ran out of time and it got dark. It's all brittle that if I touch it, it starts breaking up.

I know it has been a few years, but I am searching for a solution to this same problem. Ford dealer doesn't sell the cowl end pieces seperately. Any help would be appreciated.

You can get them.for 20 bucks. They are the cowl ends. There is a sticky on here somewhere with the link to buy them.
