P0446 on 2009 F-150
There's been mention of this kind of issue in reference to older trucks mostly so I thought I would include my experience with it.
This was an easy one. The EVAP canister on my 2009 F-150 is located on the inside of the driver's side frame rail and the EVAP vent solenoid is on the bottom right hand corner. Taking a quick look at things before I went to buy a vent solenoid, the loom on the wiring looked a bit rough where it was attached to the canister mount. Stripping the loom back I discovered a broken wire. A 5 minute wiring repair and the truck is back to normal.
