oil light comes off and on
ive got a '01 f-150 5.4L and the oil light comes on with oil gauge showing no pressure!after a minute or two the light goes off and the gauge shows normal pressure but it doent do it all the time!does this sound like the oil pressure sending unit or is it the pump starting to go out?

If you don't have valve train noise when the light is on showing no oil pressure, it is probably the sending unit.
