Default Nice site for equipment and manuals for servicing A/C systems

I am shopping for a vacuum pump and I ran across this site. Don't know anything about this outfit. There has been numerous complaints here about truck system which do not have enough cooling. If you look at the manuals offered on this site they have what you need to answer your queations concerning it. One thing about it if you educate yourself on the "whichness of Why" of an automotive A/C system when you take it to be serviced you can tell when the auto tech is feeding you a line of bovine scatology.

Here is a ebook with a bunch of useful information;

I really think I have a clogged orifice tube. All I need is a vacuum pump to service the system. Considering the hourly rate service shops get these days I figure the pump would pay for it's self in the first use. I know my limitations, if I am dealing with a competant mechanic I will gladly pay the price, a good service tech is a treasure to be preserved. But I enjoy the learning and the fixing of my own vehicals, The A/C system on this truck is a simple compared with what I am used to servicing the Cadillac climate control systems used in the 60's. The fastest way I know to start speaking in tongues is to work on one of these Cadillac Frigidare systems.....damn

The Auto AC Systems site also has a forum where A/C issues are discussed.
I found a thread where the question was asked why does the clutch on my F150
cycle every 10 seconds. The answer was most likely a clogged orifice tube.rifice tube.
