Well after long hours of research and not wanting to go to a mechanic i gave in a went, Found out today i need a new torque converter, everything else checked out okay, Has anyone else had a torque converter replaced, the average cost i got was 700.00 300 for a t.c 300 for R&R and 100. for misc supplies taxes and fees. Does this sound correct, I have the 04 f150 scab 2wd 4.6 v8 with what is believed to be the 4r70 tranny I may be wrong someone can correct me if needed, I did find a local shop who would r&r for 250.00 and give me cost on a t.c and warrant the t.c for 3yr/36000. Im up for suggestions if you got em.. Thanks so much
