NEW AOD won't SHIFT DAMMITT!
It's proffesionally rebuilt and it wont shift! I THOUGHT it may be a TV (transmission valve) cable adjustment, but THATS not it! This is driving me NUTS! WHY would a AOD TRANS not SHIFT out of 1st gear?

One thought is that the shift linkage is not aligned correctly - that is, what's indicated on the dash is not where the tranny actually is.
Another thought is the tranny rebuilder screwed up - hope you're in a position where you can take it back under warranty.
A third thought is that a connector has not been reconnected.
