Your the 1st to mention a rebuild from everyone who i have talked to. I'm assuming the friction disks are non metallic? Is sludge not common in the drip pan?

Correct the friction disks are material kind of like a clutch in a manual Trans bonded to disk. There will be a light amount of it in the pan but no chunks or large piles.
