need advise before I can drive it again!!
1997 Ford 4x4 4.6 L and IT HAS OIL IN THE SAFE MARKS. Now when I came home from work when I stopped at the red light my oil gage went completely down and the dummy light came on,,again when I applied the brakes to turn and when stopping in my driveway.It comes right back to normal position after I give it some accelerator. Oil pump or sending unit OR????

If you didn't have valve train noise, change the sending unit, hopefully that's it.
