Lower Ball joints help please

Lower Ball joints help please
Hey everyone just wondering if I need to take off the upper control arm and tie rod ends to get at the lower ball joints on a 97 f150. Any help would be great!! Thank you so much!!!

i just recently did the lower joints on my 03 and i had to knock lose the upper ball joint and the tie rod ends to get the spindle out of the way. from my experience, dont try to push them out without a ball joint pusher because they are mighty tight.
