Lower ball joint / control arm HELP...

The hardest part was just getting motivated enough to do it. That and trying to hold all the crap out of the way while you're pulling things off...brake caliper, axle shaft, etc.
I had a pickle fork, just needed the ball joint press tool to press out the old lower joing and press back in the new one. Was a $200 deposit for the tool, and $8 per day rental fee. They refunded the whole $200 and didn't charge anything. Was a piece of cake with the tool!

I think it's called a ball joint press. Not positive, but I'm pretty sure. Makes the job so much easier and faster. In hindsight, I probably would have paid the $200 for the tool and just bought it if it was something I would use more than once. Even still, it would have been way worth the investment!
