low oil light on only in 4x4 mode
My 2003 5.4L F-150 oil light comes on and pressure drops to zero only when engaging in 4x4 high and low. And as to my thinking is that 4x4 and eng. oil pres. have nothing in common ! Must be voltage spike or grounding in a computer modual ?

Problem solved by warfrat (owner). Loose connecter block for oil pres. sensor. Connecter was laying on forward axle by input drive shaft. When 4x4 engadged, wire would bounce causing intermitant on and off again contact.
