Low-Idle Engine Stall ONLY After Warmed Up
2006 Ford F150 SuperCrew 5.4L v8 Triton XLT 130,000+miles.
While the truck is still cool it does not seem to have any problems. Check engine light has been on for a long time at least 10,000+miles.
However, once it warms up it will stall at low engine rev/idle. I have checked the air intake filter, I have had AutoZone hook up their diagnostic machine and they told me nothing is registering.
I have changed the oil & oil filter, and air filter. I removed the catylitic converter a couple years ago.
The heat and AC both work. No fuses are burnt out (interior or under the hood). Please folks, ANY Tips, Suggestions, Past Experiences or any Information at all is Welcome and Very Much Appreciated.
Thanks,
Russ
