Loss of power and idles like garbage

I feel a little stupid asking but are you sure your tune up was done properly and are you sure all the plugs are in the correct spots.did you make sure your distributor and coil are working properly, check for a vacuum leak, if its only throwing on one side it could be a coil or the distributor, I'm not sure take it to a trusted shop if you know one, honestly it could just be something stupid or funny problem with a sensor and maybe it trucks your engine to running rough yours is newer than mine maybe something is screwing with your computer

I had a shop do the plugs and boots. There isn't a distibutor on my truck it has coils on each cylinder. I'm thinking maybe a vacuum leak. When it's cold I can here a low pitch wistel when I give it gas. But I can't locate it. I have a feeling it's something stupid but now I'm $300 into parts and I'm getting mad. I hate guess work. It's $90 to have the dealer diagnose it but I don't trust them. Other shops don't have the proper diagnostic tools.

When the truck is idling , can you hear any noise coming from the front cover of the engine? Our trucks are notorious for timing chain guides breaking and tensionors going bad. There is a very good write up on how to replace your timing chains on here. The set usually runs around 199.00 at Oreilys. Labor will run about 8 hours if you take your time. Its good to have a buddy there to help you out. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I would take it to a mechanic that has done one before.
Also, I printed out the directions on how to line up the timing marks and took it to my mechanic so he would have a better understanding on how to line up the marks because its a little different setup than having just 1 timing chain.

I don't really here any noise from the front cover. It does sound like a very slight ticking under the valve covers when I'm under the hood. But not really enough to mention. That's really a job that I'm not comfortable doing myself. I don't have a garage and my friends don't have any confidence working on my motor. So I'll probably take it in. Thanks for all your help guys. I'll post back on here with the end result

You gotta touch your terminals together while its unhooked though, i had the same problem i did a tune up oil change and had to change a coil and new cat i added an exhaust at the same time and it fixed it my CEL is still on but its just for a vacuum leak which is probably a pvc valve ill replace that next, is your CEL still blinking? Cause i had to change the coil and do a tune up to clear the misfire

Touching the terminals is referring to the wires that are mounted to the battery, when they are taken off completely it is said they can be touched together to discharge any remaining electrical current in the system.
