Default Lifter noise after oil change.

Purchased a 97 F150 4.6L with 86,xxx miles on it. Changed oil using Penzoil 10W30, shortly after noticed what seems like a lifter knock on the right side. I did not notice this before oil change but it also had an exhaust leak that was fixed at time of oil change as well so.... I can put my finger on the valve cover and it can be felt by the second spark plug back from front. Sometimes it can be heard when idling and the hood is open while at times not. It is clearly heard at cruising speeds. Any ideas?

Default Not Much There:

....possibly a collapsed lifter that allows the cam follower to bang around. If the lifter is not pumping out, some contamination may have plugged the oil ports to or in the lifter.

If contamination is present, sometimes some solvent such as Rislone added to the oil might clear it up.
