Leaking 3rd Brake Light
Yeah, I know (now) commonly known problem....
I used some RTV today as a quick fix solution, but there is water in the lense assembly, and one crack near the left screw (rubber grommet for the screw was destroyed).
Looking at aftermarket assemblies and wanted some guidance. Any brands to avoid? Any that are less prone to this issue?
Thanks,

I had the same problem it was replaced under warranty then the new one started leaking. They all had problems with the gaskets (seal) so I went with the led light by Anso I like the look and it has a heavy gasket, problem solved..

Some of their reviews said that the instructions were bad and that they were not "plug and play". The picture only shows two wires, so what are they like to install? I can't imagine it could be challenging, but since you've done it I'll ask.
Are the incandescent white bulbs retained?
