Default Keyless Entry

Just bought a ford f 150. I bought it from a gm dealer and they cant seem to give the old code so I can clear and put my own in to make it work. The ford dealer in town wants $45 to hook it up to a computer. Has anyone found another way? Thanks

Thanks for the video Merty it was very interesting. I guess there was a design change in 2009 and I failed to mention my truck is a 2010. I was actually able to release the back of the back seat and fold it down. The problem is that box is not located there with the factory code. Anyone else got any suggestions?

I bought a 2006 F-150 from a Dodge dealer and ran into the same problem. He couldn't find the factory code to re-set the keyless entry. I asked the service manager for help and he hooked up a computer to retrieve the factory code so I could re-set with my own code. He did it for no charge saying it should have been taken care of when I bought the truck. So go to the service department..they should make it right.

my 06 was behind the back seat. it was a small box mounted to the rear wall, i had to unmount the box to get the numbers from the back of it.
