Default Intermittent cruise control

What's up guys. I'm a newb here and having a little trouble locating my secondary speed control deactivation switch (normally on the master cylinder far as I can tell). 2004 f150 5.4. cruise is intermittent. Sometimes turns on. Times not at all. When on it often goes off after a little while. Located the one above brake pedal and just curious where the other is if not on the master. Thanks in advance!

Thanks man! I'll look into that as I did notice a bit of water leak in the back window right there going through the wash.

No one knows of an alternate (other then brakes master cylinder) location for a speed control deactivation switch though hey? I've seen a parallel thread and no answers. All of the diagrams I find on line show one on the master, yet mine is not?!

I believe the cruise control de-activation is done through resistance when brake applied.. this is run through the third brake light circuit.

Had a look at the terminals in 3rd brake. Everything looks and operates flawlessly.

I have full glass coverage and am going to see if I can get insurance to foot that bill. If not I'll hit you up!
