Oh ok. IDE change the plugs just because but maybe try to pin point the Bad coil.

If you decide to find the bad coil then ide only change that one, you might as well change the coil boots while they are out.

Do you know the common procedure or recommendations for changing plugs?

Okay well i ordered the wrong plugs and coils .. doh . I'm going to go with changing the plugs, and see if that fixes my miss issue . As far as procedures and recommendations go , I have done a butt load of reading and watching youtube video after youtube video ... My only concern would be if they were a little tough to get out i dont want to crank them to hard while trying to remove them . I know these plugs are one piece design but i don't want to screw anything up ! Any methods to help get those out a little easier if they're giving me trouble ? If i spray anything in the holes i dont want to do any damage to my engine . I got a ton of ratchet extensions and a air compressor to remove debris , also i need to pick up a spark plug gapper to double check the gap before installing . Any pointers/tips are much appreciated thanks for your help rossco.

You pretty much covered the bases. Compressed air is desirable to blow the plug holes out.

Last set I did I added a tiny amount of Anti-seeze around 3 or 4 threads up. This is up to you as some claim this can foul the O2's. the plugs did creek during the initial loosening, I pulled them dry, I have the torque setting but I cannot find my laptop FFS. I am not sure on gaping as I did mine down to 30k, blower spec.

Your gonna need a 14mm plug socket (9/16 will do)

Good luck !

I had a miss at around 5mph and it was the coils. They are very easy to do and have to come off for the plugs anyway. Shop around though. I an entire set of coils for about $100. Even if they are terrible and only last a year they will be worth it. So far they are working great though. Definitely go with the motocraft spark plugs. They put out new ones that are designed to not break like the old ones.
