My 2000 F150 over drive light is flashing off over and over. I have tried to reset this but it just keeps flashing. I am assuming I have lost my over drive on the transmission.

Has anyone had this problem!

Thanks Gary

Default 01 manual throwing codes

Hey friends. Im trying to get my 01 manual 4.6 to pass emissions inspection in our nations capital. Its throwing the following codes: P0135, P0136, O0401 and P0174. I replaced the intake spacer and gaskets and am prepared to change the upstream oxygen sensor ( bank 1) and DPFE sensor (EGR).
My question is: What should I do first? Can I get away with replacing only the oxygen sensor identified with the code? Might there be another cause for the DPFE/EGR code?
This is a work truck.. Im trying to get her back on the road legally and inexpensively. I appreciate your collective wisdom.

Also check exhaust air if cats clogged could throw egr and o2 codes. As well best idea i think when reading codes is check o2 sensor in spec if so not issue. So money isnt wasted.

Hey folks. I am hoping you folks can help me out with some advice. I drive a 2002 F-150 with the 4.6L. It has been running super rough. The code reader says P0316 (misfire on start up) P0304 (Misfire on Cyl 4) and P0305 (misfire on Cyl 5) I have changed out the plugs and cleaned the injectors but to no avail. What would you try next? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you purchased the part at a national auto parts chain, they have bi-directional scanners. Just ask them to clear all the codes.

Let's try and hope it will be a good solution.

Default P2112 code

My truck just set off a 2112 code and says throttle actuator control system is stuck closed. I've read where others have had this problem. Am i better off just starting with replacing the throttle body? I cant afford to be taken to the cleaners by a mechanic who will use this as an opportunity to milk me for parts and services.

Default obd 2 code reader

Just picked me up from amazon the Launch creader v+ code reader. Plugged right into my 09 f150. Super easy to use. $60.00
