Diagnostic Code
Our F-150 Supercrew is missing. My husband has replaced a coil on #7, that is what the code came up with. He is now putting in all new spark plugs but its still missing.
He ran the diagnostics again and is now getting PO 156 sensor malfuntion, bank 2 sensor.
Can someone tell us what this is? He is wanting to get the part as he is heading out tomorrow to visit his mom and I need the other truck here. And of course, its Christmas day!!
Anyone know exactly what that is?

Fixed the problem
He got it fixed. Apparently it was a coil. The diagnostics said # 7 but he looked up several times as to which one was number 7. Each response was a different diagram so he ended up changing 2 of them and putting in new plugs too. Runs like a dream again.

Hey Yall, just picked up 97' f150 everything running fine. I decided to clean up the engine a bit with a little water now I have a check engine light with code P0301 cylinder #1 misfire. What can I do to correct this?

FREDO What happened was you sprayed water on the top of the engine and water got down into a spark plug "pit" for a lack of a better word its the opening where your spark plug screws into the cylinder head and you shorted out a coil pack. This happened to me when i brought my truck in to get detailed and I had to replace the coil pack about $60 .. It happened the day I was heading out of town so it really sucked. but it takes 5 min to change it out.

Fredos 97 f150 does not have individual coil packs it has one on each side on front of motor with 4 plug wires on it called ignition coil they are 45-50 $ per side not like individual coils
