Your engine doesn't have a spot for a mechanical fuel pump, so you would need to use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. You would also need to change the ignition system as the one you have is controlled by the computer. I don't recommend downgrading to carbureted as fuel injected will run much better than a carb, plus it won't be emissions legal. Also fuel injection is easier to fix because you have the computer codes to help point you in the right direction. The wiring harness is easy to swap, I'd go to the junkyard and get a replacement. You can get just the engine harness, which stops just behind the engine with a large plug, or you can get it all the way to the firewall.
