Hi everyone. 88 f150 no lights???
Fist off im new and glad to be here. So hi everyone.
In the last 3 months ive gon from none to 2 F150s
The first 1990 custom 4x4 with the inline six.
Ive changed it from a sad mess to my everyday driver.
Now someone seen my truck and gave me his old 1988 for a price I couldn’t refuse.
It needs a lot of work. Just a bunch of little things, but im stuck with the lights.
I got all flashers and the brake lights, but no dash lights headlights tail lights or cab light.
Everything ive done:
Ive tried 2 different light switches, checked the fuse and installed a new dimmer switch,
Ive checked the ground at the headlight bulb and it has no resistance, but the voltage is reading about .03 volts. I don’t know a lot about wiring but I (think) the ground is ok.
i don’t know if this year has a relay or if it could be a fusible link.
Anyway if anyone has any advice it would be great. I have a wrecker in town
With lots of the same year trucks so I don’t want to just use this one for parts. Thanks
