Help my 06 f150 has fallen and it wont get back up
Came out of work to a dead batt. Jumped it, started it but it only idles, drug it home with my froader bronco and realized the tranny in it (the bronco) was leaking seriously!!! But my f150 is my DD so its first, I tried the reset procedure I found on this site, unhook batt. let sit cleaned the throttle body, hooked up batt after 30min. started it, idle only! let it idle 10 min ran the ac ect... idled it up and down my driveway 30 min. I still have no peddle response it runs in idle only. Guys any help will be greatly appreciated I got to get to work Monday.

I'd say it has to be either the pedal assembly or the throttle control motor thats failed. Are you getting a check engine/orange wrench light?

If it faulty you won't be able to do anything but replace it. Trying to do a reset is like feeding a dead fish. I was thinking the throttle body/position sensor was integral to the throttle motor, but I just went out and looked at my '05 and its (obviously) not. Looks easy to change though, you'll need a small Torx bit - looks like a T20 - and about a 4" extension. Don't drop the screw, you'll never see it again!

Need a live data scan tool to view signal output of the pedal assembly to be sure it's not that, otherwise you might replace the wrong part.
When I worked at the dealer we replaced quite a few pedal assemblies on the Powerstroke trucks for those exact symptoms you describe.

Electronics don't have an expiration date, they work until they fail.
