Default heater hose location 4.2 liter

I just overhauled a 4.2 liter 1997 v. 6. There are two hoses coming off the heater hoses that attach somewhere on the manifold. They are about 5/16 inside diameter. Does anyone know where they attach. I can't find where they connect?
