I just had this happen on my 2012 XLT. The battery went dead after sitting for a few days. I could not find anything that was left on. I will keep an eye on the "P".

Default Gauge backlighting does not always shut off

BubbTX asked if I had replaced the switch. The entire floor shifter console has been replaced, including all the switches there. The dealership also replaced the ignition switch. The truck battery has drained down once since that time; the last incident I reported here. Still no further clues as to what is causing this - it is very random and I cannot correlate it to anything, even cold weather. The last time this happened was on a weekend when the weather was about 70 degrees outside.
