Question Fuel pump fuse blown

My truck shut down in traffic and I was unable to restart until I replaced the fuse for the fuel pump. After doing this the truck ran normally until I shut it down again and had to once again replace the fuse. Assuming something shorted in the circuit, could it be a failed fuel pump relay??

Thanks for the response! The problem was a failed fuel pump relay, located in the fuse box under hood.

Mine blew this fuse just today. 2013 5.0

Truck would crank, not start.

Searched this forum and found to check Fuse 27. Done that and it was blown.

Replaced the fuse but the truck still shows AdvanceTrac and Hill Decent control faults. Truck has lost power....... Why does these new symptoms appear after replacing the fuse?

Dealer serviced mine and installed the fuse relocation kit. Picked up the truck and the speedometer is not accurately working, slow by aprox 12%. Took back to the dealer they said:
1. impossible - I said yes it happened
2. Test drove with my GPS to prove it. Guy said my GPS was bad
3. Test drove my GPS with the Service Tec's car of choice, GPS accurate
4. Left it at the dealer. Got a call and he said because I changed tires.... BUT..... I informed him to check the tires... SAME EXACT SIZE AS OEM
5.Service Tech said you change wheels. I said yes BUT.... 20" is 20"... Service Tec said yes, but your wheels are wider than OEM..... OMG!!
6. Service Tech said to call the service manager and explain.
7. Service Manager does not respond or return calls. WTG Ford
8. Waiting at home.... Still waiting
