2007 4.2L v6 2wd:

I just bought the truck and am doing the first brake/wheel bearing job. I am not new to this stuff, I just dont want to tear into it because i am away from my shop and it will be a "parking lot job".

the question is: what is the deal with the front wheel bearings? Is there an inner and an outer, like the old school kinds. or are they non-serviceable hub assemblies? I am just a little confused since the parts store didnt know what they were talking about and the lazy dealership people dont answer the phones, and i have heard two different things. I know i could just go tear it apart but i have limited time, tools, place to work on it, and i just dont want to tear it apart more times than needed.

any info would be greatly appreciated

IIRC they are non-serviceable.

so for the 2007 f150 2wd front wheel bearing you have to replace the whole hub assembly?? why is it that the parts stores around me sell just the bearings then??
