Front ticking noise when turning

I had the same ticking noise when turning on my 06 fx4 at 48k miles. Dealer could not find problem. I took it to Mr. tire fearing the worst (CV). It turned out to be the anti-rattle pin on my left front wheel. Needed brakes, pads got real low and caused pin to go "click" in turns at low speeds. I got my first brake job (amazing) then and they cleaned the pins. Problem was fixed. Now 54k and no recurrence.

The Ford F150 Limited's in 2008 are AWD as welll-kind of off subject but a buddy of mine just bought one
