Default Front end noise

I just had a leveling kit put on my 08 FX4, new tires on stick rims, and I got it aligned. I've been driving it for a few days with no issues. Last night while driving in the snow I could hear a knocking sound coming from the front. Especially when I hit even the smallest bump in the road. When I finally hit dry pavement it pretty much stopped unless I hit a big bump. Suspension issue? That's what I was thinking. Any idea what this could be? Thanks

I had a 2007 4x4 with a leveling kit. Had a similar problem. It may be the shocks...they were not designed for the extra pressure of the leveling kit...however, in my case it was the rear leaf pack on the driver's side. I spent a year (and much $$$) trying to find the clunk in the front end. Finally one day I sprayed WD40 on the leaf springs and the clunk stopped.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Brandon
