Oil Leak at Oil Pan - 2016 F-150 w/5.0
As the subject suggests, I have a 2016 F150 with 5.0 motor with 198k miles that is leaking oil near the pan. The oil collects and drips off the oil pan very near the drain plug. As expected, there is oil everywhere in the vicinity obscuring the source. Using a UV flashlight after dark, I saw what appeared "could" be oil leaking around the oil pan gasket.
Based on research, I suspect that the gasket has likely failed and is due for replacement. I guess my first question is, does that seem like the most likely culprit? My second question is, is anyone aware of a guide for dropping the oil pan? Seems to be conflicting information online, but I have seen where the front differential may need to be lowered, sway bar removed, etc. I would like nail down specifically what the job entails.
Thanks in advance.

seems like you have it figured out. front diff and steering rack have to be dropped to lower it on a 4x4.
