Alright so i drive a 06 f150 5.4 supercrew and have owned the truck now for 4 days. On my way home from work yeaterday i was on the freeway doin 65 and guages read normal and then all of a sudden my temp guage spiked to red instantly and a chime sounded the dash said to check guages. So i pulled over about 5 miles down the road and turned the truck off and popped the hood. No sign of overheating no gurgling or steaming fluid. I started the truck back up less then 5min from shut down and the temp read normal. No check light or anything.
