Manual... Read about the Intelligent Oil Life Monitor. It will tell you when it is time. 1 year or 10,000 miles or sooner based on usage.

Exactly, change it whenever you want to. I don't care if it is synthetic oil, I won't go a year or 10k ever. I change every 5k

There is no way I would run the original oil for the first 10,000 miles. I'd like to think that after the first oil change with full synthetic (which your oil is not) then maybe just maybe if not abused or used for towing then (did I mention maybe?) you might think about going 10,000 miles in between oil changes.

Me: For your first oil change, change it somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 miles.

Wow, the first one at 10,000. Outfriggingrageous. Will probably be **** and do the 3,000, and maybe lighten up after that. So it'll be like the wife's Escape.... 40% oil life left, 20% oil life left....etc...
