Default F150 Transmission Issue

I have a 2010 F150 Platinum. It is 11 month past warrant with 53000 miles. I have been noticing rough gear change when accelerating, not bad just different.
My local ford dealer said that there is no problem with the software. It could then be one 1 of 2 things. 1. The gear mesh shavings may be causing electrical contamination. A quick fix might be draining the transmission fluid, & cleaning out all the contamination & hope that is the problem. $795.00. 2. It could be these metal shavings are not allowing the cellnoids to open & close properly. To clean & replace cellnoids if # 1 doesn't work and I bring it back is another $1600.00. Total $2400.00. If I do both at the same time it is $2000.00. Any suggestions?. I feel like going to get the truck take to a mechanic have him drain and replace transmission fluid and keep driving.

Do it yourself. Drop the pan, change the filter and refill.
A video to guide you through the process.
An easy job although messy.
