Hi have 2008 ford f150 xlt 5.4. sry if ramble but bout ready to go lil nuts lol. this thing runs fine all over town all week long without any issues, but if I hook up to my camper or go up an down hills different story. like I say around town good if I go about 20 miles from my house may be fine but by time I get home and pull in driveway it sounds like its going to come apart Breaks up sounds like a diesel truck if I mash on gas it will clear up temporarily like the same when I pull my camper when get were I'm going I go to stop pull up to back in it starts. now weird thing is it dose not do it at any stop sings or red lights or in between were I am going just end of trip were ever.
for what I have tried
1. have gotin a cpl of codes 1 was fuel rail pressure sensor witch I replaced. hasn’t come back.
2. cam shaft sensors 1 & 2 replaced both has been back suspect something else causing that problem in line before them?
3 replaced fuel filter
4 replaced air filter
5 replaced fuel regulator believe its called on frame back next to spare tier.
6 removed and cleaned throttle body.
it dose seem weather temp heat affects is a little.
I have been messing with this for some time now any ideas will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance. scratching my head over here lol

Have you changed the plugs ? You may have to drop oil pan to see if plastic guide pieces are in there . Pan gasket reusable .
You may be looking at a timing job . Big effort ,not cheap .That was my problem, fixed it myself .
Vct's are a problem,poor oem oil pump, phasors, guides ,tensioners,lash adjusters . All are subject to poor oil pressure .
