2019 2.7 - P0430, Replaced cat & o2 sensors, code came back
This truck has been throwing the P0430 code since I bought it a couple months ago. It'd come on for a while then go back off.
Brought it into the shop for some other work. Since he had the cat off already (and I'd already bought the parts), I asked him to install the new parts.
Code came back almost immediately.
The cat is AP Eastern, one sensor is Bosch, the other NTK.
Is this a case of bad parts, or is there something else going on?
The truck was seen 25,000km ago by Ford from previous owner where they said the cat was bad in the old one, but we had a look inside the o2 port and the honeycomb looked perfectly ok...nothing rattling around inside.
