Default Engine splash guard / rear foam skid plate

Mine came loose and was pretty well shredded by the time we got home. It's the foam piece about 2' by 3' or so.

I'm not sure how to find a replacement for it because I'm not sure what the part is called.

What is the official name for it? I'd like to search for a replacement.

Is it necessary? It would seem to help protect parts underneath the engine.

I'll never know for sure since my wife was driving, lol.

I suspect they (dealer) didn't secure it properly after the oil change.

I still don't know how to find on line since I'm not sure what it's called. Good news is that I plan to ask for replacement as a warranty(or dealer's fault) at the dealer.

Good news. After trying to make me pay $350 to replace the guard(ridiculous) the dealer did agree to pay for it when I suggested they caused the problem when they changed the oil.
