Default Electrical dash problem

I have 2003 f150 and the dash gauges and lights keep shorting out, I heard ford had some trouble with the electrical problems with this model and was wondering what the fix might be.

i have a similar problem but mine only happens when it rains? and its only my 4x4 light? any suggestion
