This is a hasty post. .. i just got home from being away for Army training.... the trans went on my 1997 F150. It's a 4.6 4x4 with a 4r70w. My wife bought a used e4od with 150k on it from a 4x4 97 expedition with a 5.4. As far as I know it won't work, but I'm not against custom work. Pin outs and drive shafts are easy. ...

I'm just looking for some guidance on this. I figure the tcm would reject it, and then I'm not even sure it would shift at that point. So. ....... any ideas?
